# Currency Converter Not Showing on My Store [Fixed]

If your Currency Converter is not appearing on the storefront, don't worry — this is usually caused by a simple configuration or visibility setting.

In most cases, the issue can be resolved within a few minutes by checking the settings outlined below.

Common causes include:

* App Embed is disabled
* Money format is not configured correctly
* Onboarding is incomplete
* Visibility settings are turned off
* No currencies are selected
* Custom placement configuration issues
* Theme styling conflicts
* Browser cache

Let's go through each solution step-by-step. 🚀

---

# **✅ Check 1: Enable the App Embed**

For the Currency Converter to appear on your storefront, the app embed must be enabled inside your Shopify theme.

### **How to Check**

Go to:

**Shopify Admin → Sales Channels → Online Store → Themes → Edit Theme → App Embeds**

Then:

* Find **Currency Converter**
* Toggle it **ON**
* Click **Save**

### **Expected Result**

The Currency Converter becomes available for display on your storefront.

💡 If the App Embed is already enabled, try turning it off, saving, then enabling it again and saving once more.

---

# **✅ Check 2: Verify Your Money Format**

The Currency Converter needs to identify prices on your storefront before it can convert them.

If the required money format is missing, prices may not convert correctly and the widget may fail to function as expected.

### **How to Check**

Go to:

**Shopify Admin → Settings → General → Store defaults → Currency display → Change currency formatting**

Verify that your money formats include:

* HTML with currency: \<span class=money\>Rs. {{amount}} INR\</span\>
* HTML without currency: \<span class=money\>Rs. {{amount}}\</span\>

ℹ️ The currency and its symbol need to be the same as your store currency.

### **Expected Result**

The Currency Converter can successfully detect and convert prices throughout your storefront.

💡 If you're unsure about the correct format, revisit the onboarding process and allow the app to generate the recommended values automatically.

---

# **✅ Check 3: Complete the Onboarding Process**

The Currency Converter requires the onboarding setup to be completed before it can function correctly.

### **How to Check**

Open:

**Hoppy Currency Converter**

If the onboarding screen is still visible:

→ Complete all remaining onboarding steps

### **Expected Result**

The dashboard becomes available and the Currency Converter can begin working normally.

---

# **✅ Check 4: Complete Setup Verification**

After completing the onboarding steps, the final setup verification must be completed to ensure all storefront configurations are applied successfully.

### **How to Check**

Open:

**Hoppy Currency Converter**

If you see the setup verification screen:

➡️ Review the setup checklist.

➡️ Click **Everything is Great**.

This confirms that the recommended setup steps have been reviewed and allows the app to finalize its storefront configuration.

### **Expected Result**

The setup process is completed successfully, and the Currency Converter becomes fully available across supported storefront locations.

💡 Even if your App Embed and Money Format have already been configured, we still recommend completing the setup verification step to ensure all storefront integrations are activated correctly.

---

# **✅ Check 5: Verify Desktop & Mobile Visibility**

The Currency Converter can be shown or hidden separately on desktop and mobile devices.

### **How to Check**

Open:

**Settings → Display**

Locate:

* Show On Desktop
* Show On Mobile

### **Expected Result**

At least one visibility option should be enabled.

⚠️ If both settings are disabled, the Currency Converter will be hidden on all devices.

---

# **✅ Check 6: Verify Selected Currencies**

The Currency Converter requires at least one active currency to display options to shoppers.

### **How to Check**

Open:

**Settings → General**

Locate:

**Select Currencies**

### **Expected Result**

At least one currency should be selected.

💡 If all currencies were removed accidentally, simply add your preferred currencies and save the settings.

---

# **✅ Check 7: Review Custom Placement Settings**

If you're using a custom placement, the Currency Converter relies on a CSS selector to determine where it should appear.

### **How to Check**

Open:

**Settings → Display**

If **Position Style** is set to **Custom**:

* Review the Custom Element selector
* Verify the selector exists on your storefront

Examples:

* `.header-actions`
* `#currency-wrapper`

### **Expected Result**

The selector should match an actual element on the page.

💡 If you're unsure, temporarily switch to a standard placement such as Floating or Header and test again.

---

# **✅ Check 8: Perform a Hard Refresh**

Sometimes Shopify or browser caching can prevent recent changes from appearing immediately.

### **Windows**

Ctrl \+ Shift \+ R

### **Mac**

Cmd \+ Shift \+ R

### **Expected Result**

The storefront reloads using the latest assets instead of cached versions.

---

# **✅ Check 9: Test in Incognito Mode**

Browser extensions, sessions, and cached data can sometimes interfere with storefront visibility.

### **How to Check**

Try:

* Opening your store in Incognito Mode
* Using another browser
* Testing on another device

### **Expected Result**

The Currency Converter appears normally if the issue is cache or session related.

---

# **✅ Check 10: Look for Theme Styling Conflicts**

In some cases, the Currency Converter loads correctly but becomes hidden because of theme styling or custom CSS.

### **How to Check**

Inside the Currency Converter app:

→ Open the Design section

Temporarily change:

* Background color
* Text color
* Border style

Save and refresh your storefront.

### **Expected Result**

Visual changes should appear immediately.

If styling changes do not appear, your theme or another app may be overriding the Currency Converter styles.

---

# **✅ Check 11: Review Custom CSS**

Custom CSS added through Advanced Settings can accidentally hide or reposition the Currency Converter.

### **How to Check**

Open:

**Advanced → Custom CSS**

Review any CSS targeting:

* `.futureblink-currency-box`
* Currency Converter related classes

Temporarily remove the CSS and save.

### **Expected Result**

The Currency Converter becomes visible again if the custom CSS was causing the issue.

---

# **🆘 Still Not Showing?**

If you've completed all the checks above and the Currency Converter is still not appearing:

### **Try the Following**

1. Save the settings again
2. Re-enable the App Embed
3. Verify the money format
4. Test on a live product page
5. Test in Incognito Mode
