🆔 How to Find Service ID

Every service created in Hoppy Appointment Booking has its own unique Service ID.

This ID helps identify a specific service and is commonly used when adding appointment calendars to your storefront, creating custom booking experiences, or configuring certain integrations.

The good news? Finding your Service ID only takes a few seconds. 🚀

⚠️ Before You Begin

Before locating your Service ID:

  • Make sure at least one service has already been created
  • Make sure you have access to the Hoppy Appointment Booking dashboard

If no services exist yet, create a service first before continuing.

🛠️ Step 1 — Open Hoppy Appointment Booking

From your Shopify Admin:

→ Open Hoppy Appointment Booking

This will take you to the Services dashboard where all available services are listed.

📂 Step 2 — Locate the Service

Find the service you want the ID for.

Each service card typically displays information such as:

  • Service Name
  • Linked Product
  • Service Status

Once you've found the correct service, you can use any of the methods below to copy its Service ID.

🆔 Step 3 — Copy the Service ID

There are multiple ways to find your Service ID.

Choose whichever method is most convenient for you.

📍 Method 1 — From the Service List

This is usually the quickest method.

  1. Locate the service from the Services dashboard
  2. Click the More menu on the service card
  3. Select Copy Service ID

The Service ID will be copied directly to your clipboard. 📋

📍 Method 2 — From Inside the Service Editor

You can also copy the Service ID from inside the service settings.

  1. Open the service by clicking on it
  2. Look near the top of the page below the service title
  3. Locate the Service ID
  4. Click the Copy icon beside it

The Service ID will be copied instantly.

📍 Method 3 — From the Browser URL

If needed, the Service ID can also be found inside the browser address bar.

  1. Open the service editor
  2. Look at the URL in your browser
  3. Locate the value that appears after /services/

Example

https://your-store.com/admin/services/64f8a2b3c9d8e7...

In this example:

64f8a2b3c9d8e7...

is the Service ID.

⚠️ Make sure to copy the entire value without adding extra spaces.

📌 Common Uses for Service ID

You may need your Service ID when:

  • Adding an Appointment Calendar block to your Shopify theme
  • Embedding a booking calendar on a custom page
  • Creating direct booking links
  • Configuring integrations
  • Working with support during troubleshooting

Having the correct Service ID ensures the right calendar and availability settings are loaded.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Every service has its own unique Service ID
  • Duplicating a service creates a brand-new Service ID
  • Archived services retain their original Service ID
  • Service IDs are case-sensitive and should be copied exactly as shown

Using an incorrect or incomplete ID may prevent calendars and integrations from loading properly.
