✅ Step 1: Open the Hoppy Announcement
1️⃣ From your Shopify admin, open the Hoppy Announcement
app.
2️⃣ Select the announcement bar type as Checkout page(you will require shopify plus plan to add the timer in the checkout page)
✅ Step 2: Customize your announcement bar
3️⃣ Under the Content tab, fill in the following fields:
Title🧾: Add your main announcement message (e.g., Enjoy 20% Off All Products!).
Sub-heading✍️: Add your supporting message or extra details (e.g., Limited time only or Offer valid till Sunday).
✅ Step 3: Customize the Design of the announcement bar
4️⃣ Navigate to the Design tab to personalize your bar:
Typography:
Adjust the font, text color, and size of the title and subheading.
✅ Step 4: Placement of the announcement bar
5️⃣ In the Placement tab, you will see:
Time-on-Site Targeting ⏳ – Choose from the dropdown to either "Always Show" or "Show After a While" when a visitor arrives on your store.
Select Pages to Display (Checkout Page)
This option is pre-selected as “Custom block placement set by the merchant”, meaning the bar’s position is already placed manually in your checkout page.
✅ Step 4: Publish and Verify the Announcement Bar.
6️⃣ Click Save & Publish 💾 to activate the announcement bar.
7️⃣ Refresh your store to ensure it displays correctly.
8️⃣ If necessary, return to the Hoppy Announcement Bar app and make adjustments.
🎉 That’s it! Your announcement bar is now live in the checkout store! 🚀
