The “Allowed UTM Sources” feature lets you control when your shipping bar appear based on where your visitors come from(especially while running ads).

It ensures the bar is shown only to users who land on your store through specific sources like:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • Twitter

  • Google

  • Pinterest

  • Or any UTM code

💡UTM code is if someone visits your store using a link with a matching UTM source, the shipping bar will show, even if it's not one of the preset platforms.

📍 How to Use Allowed UTM Sources

1️⃣ Open the Hoppy Free Shipping app in your Shopify admin.

2️⃣ Go to the “Placement” tab.

3️⃣ Scroll down to the section titled “Allowed UTM Sources.”

4️⃣ You’ll see a list of platforms with checkboxes (e.g., ✅ Facebook, ✅ Instagram).

5️⃣Select the sources from which you want visitors to come, and the shipping bar will appear.

✅When someone visits your store from the selected platforms, they’ll see the shipping bar

❌ If they come from an unselected source, the shipping bar will not show.

💡Example:

If only Facebook, Instagram, and Google are selected, the shipping bar will appear for visitors coming from those platforms(including ads), and stay hidden for others.
