✅ Step 1: Ensure Your Announcement Bar is Created & Published 1️⃣ Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Hoppy Announcement bar app. 2️⃣ Check if you have created an announcement bar and ensure it is set to Published. ✅ Step 2: Enable App Embed in Theme Editor 3️⃣ For the announcement bar to appear on your store, you must enable the App Embed feature in the Shopify Theme Editor. 🔹 How to Enable App Embed: - Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes. - Click Customize on your active theme. - In the left menu, click on App Embeds (⚙️settings icon at the bottom). - Find the Announcement bar and toggle it ON. - Click Save in the top right corner. 💡 Tip: If the toggle was already ON, try turning it OFF and then back ON to refresh the settings. ✅ Step 3: Using a Custom Theme? 4️⃣ If you are using a custom theme, you will need to add the Announcement bar as a Block or Code. Follow these steps to view and analyse how your announcement bars are performing: 1️⃣ Open the app - Log in to Shopify → Apps → Hoppy Announcement and open the app. 🔓 2️⃣ Go to Analytics - Scroll down the app's Dashboard and the Analytics section (titled Analytics)📉 3️⃣ Check bar counts & status - Published ➜ number of announcement bars currently live on your store. ✅ - Not published ➜ number of saved/drafted bars not live. 📝 - Theme embedded (stats ON/OFF) ➜ shows whether the app’s status are active in your theme. - If OFF, bars may not be visible or tracked on the storefront - turn it on in your theme settings. ⚠️ 4️⃣ Read the chart metrics The analytics chart shows these key metrics: - Views 👀 ➜ how many times the bar was seen. - CTA Button Clicks 🖱️ ➜ clicks on the bar’s call-to-action button. - Closed ❌ ➜ how many visitors closed/dismissed the bar. - Coupon Copied 🎟️➜ how many times a coupon code was copied from the bar. 5️⃣ Filter by bar or all bars - Use the dropdown above the chart to show data for a specific bar or all bars. - Useful when you want the performance of a single campaign vs. the overall performance. 🔎 6️⃣ Choose a date range - Right above the chart, select the time window: Day / Month / Last 7 days / Last 30 days / Custom date range. 📅 - This lets you compare performance over time or see results from a specific push.
