How to Enable Theme App Extension
For any of our apps to appear properly on your Shopify storefront, the Theme App Extension (App Embed) must be enabled inside your Shopify theme.
Without enabling the App Embed, storefront elements from the app may not appear even if the setup is fully configured and published.
This guide explains how to enable the Theme App Extension correctly inside Shopify.
✅ Step 1: Open Shopify Online Store Settings
From your Shopify Admin:
→ Go to Sales Channels → Online Store
This section allows you to manage your Shopify theme and storefront customization settings.
✅ Step 2: Open the Shopify Theme Editor
Inside the Online Store section:
→ Click Edit Theme
This opens the Shopify Theme Editor.
✅ Step 3: Open App Embeds
Inside the Shopify Theme Editor:
→ Open the App Embeds section from the left sidebar
The App Embeds section controls storefront integrations added by Shopify apps.
Finding the Correct App Embed
Shopify may display App Embed names differently from the app names installed on your store.
Use the table below to locate the correct App Embed for your app:

If you cannot immediately locate your app inside the App Embeds list, check for its corresponding App Embed name above.
✅ Step 4: Enable the App Embed
Inside App Embeds:
→ Find the app name you are looking for
Then:
- Toggle the App Embed ON
- Click Save
⚠️ Important:
If the App Embed remains disabled, the app may not appear on the storefront even if the setup is published correctly.
About App Embed Settings
When clicking an App Embed inside Shopify's App Embeds panel, you may see a message similar to:
"This app embed doesn't have customizable settings."
This is expected behavior.
The App Embed section is only responsible for enabling or disabling the storefront integration. App-specific settings are not configured from this Shopify panel.
To customize app behavior, appearance, campaigns, widgets, goals, rules, or other features, open the app directly from your Shopify Admin. All available configuration options remain accessible within the app itself.
💡 Quick Tip
If the app was already enabled but still does not appear:
- Turn the App Embed OFF once
- Turn it back ON again
- Click Save
This often refreshes the storefront integration and resolves temporary visibility issues.
