Learn to control how the Hoppy Cookie banner appears and behaves.
✅ Step 1: Open the Hoppy Cookie App
1️⃣ From your Shopify Admin: Go to Apps.
2️⃣ Click on Hoppy Cookie to open the app.
✅ Step 2: Access Banner Settings
3️⃣ On the left-hand panel of the app, click on Banner Settings.
4️⃣ You'll be directed to the main configuration area for the cookie banner.
✅ Step 3: Choose Banner Behavior Style
5️⃣ Pick how your cookie banner should behave for visitors:

Accept/Decline✅ – Allows only necessary cookies by default. Shows both "Accept" and "Decline" buttons.

Accept Only ✔️ – Only the "Accept" button is shown. Necessary cookies are allowed by default.

Decline Only ❌ – Only the "Decline" button is shown. All cookies are allowed by default.

Informativeℹ️ – Banner is for info only. All cookies are enabled automatically.
- Informative – Displays info without options
6️⃣ Show Privacy Policy Links
Check the box to show the Google Privacy Policy link 🔗, paste the URL, and enable your Privacy Policy 🔐 by choosing auto-generate based on visitor location or selecting a specific policy (Shopify, GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, APPI, LGPD).
7️⃣ Set Data Sales Opt-Out (For US States Only) 🗽
Required for CCPA compliance (California, Utah, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia):

✅ Choose where to show the "Do not sell or share my personal information" checkbox:

At the preferences popup

8️⃣ Re-open Banner Button 🔁

Check the box to display a small re-open button in the corner of the screen

Choose when it appears after the page loads (in seconds)
✅ Step 4: Save Changes
9️⃣ Once you're done, click “Save” to apply your behavior settings.
