Hoppy Cookie makes it easy with its built-in Cookie Scanner.
✅ Step 1: Open the Hoppy Cookie app
1️⃣ Go to your Shopify Admin, click on Apps → Hoppy Cookie
2️⃣ This opens the Hoppy Cookie dashboard.
✅ Step 2: Access the Cookie Scanner
3️⃣ From the left side panel, click on Cookie Scanner.
4️⃣ The scanner will automatically detect cookies used by your store
✅ Step 3: Review Detected Cookies
5️⃣ You'll see a section labeled “Cookies Found”.
6️⃣ This shows the cookies your site is currently using, sorted under categories like:

🔒Strictly Required Cookies
👉 This information helps you properly categorize each cookie in your cookie banner.
7️⃣ Use the Re-scan Option

Click on Re-scan 🔁 if you’ve added or updated third-party apps or tracking codes

This ensures your cookie data stays up to date
8️⃣ Set Up Auto Scanning

Look for the section “Auto scan and add new cookies to your cookie management” ⏱️

Select how often you'd like the scan to run:

🕒 Set the time you'd like the scan to occur automatically
✅ Step 4: Save Your Settings
9️⃣ After configuring auto-scan frequency and time, click “Save Schedule”.
🔟 Your store will now automatically scan and detect cookies based on your set schedule.
