Learn to add countdown timer in the email popup
✅ Step 1: Open the Email Popups app
1️⃣ Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Email Popups, then Create new or Edit an existing popup.
✅ Step 2: Add the time
2️⃣ Go to the Content tab and locate the Countdown option.
3️⃣ From the Countdown Type dropdown, choose one:

None – no timer

Specific date/time – counts down to a fixed date/time

Duration – counts down for a set number of minutes/hours (starts when shown)

Runs daily for specific hours – shows only during chosen hours each day
4️⃣ Add time labels (Days / Hours / Minutes / Seconds) so visitors see each unit clearly.
✅ Step 3: Style the timer
5️⃣ Switch to the Design tab and scroll to Countdown settings.
6️⃣ Customize:

Timer style — pick a style to highlight the numbers.

Background — set the number background color or pattern.

Timer size & color — make the numbers easy to read.

Label size & color — style the time unit labels (Days/Hours/etc).
✅ Step 4: Save & preview
7️⃣ Save your changes.
8️⃣ Use Preview to check how the popup and timer look on desktop and mobile.
