How to track the performance of email popups?

Follow these steps to view and analyze how your email popups are performing:

1️⃣ Open the app

  • Log in to Shopify → Apps → Hoppy email popups and open the app. 🔓

2️⃣ Go to Analytics

  • Scroll down the app's Dashboard and the Analytics section (titled Analytics)📉

3️⃣ Check email popups counts & status

  • Published ➜ number of email popups currently live on your store. ✅

  • Not published ➜ number of saved/drafted email popups not live. 📝

  • Theme embedded (stats ON/OFF) ➜ shows whether the app’s status is active in your theme.

    • If OFF, the email popups may not be visible or tracked on the storefront - turn it on in your theme settings. ⚠️

4️⃣ Read the chart metrics

The analytics chart shows these key metrics:

  • Views 👀 ➜ how many times the email popups were seen.

  • CTA Button Clicks 🖱️ ➜ clicks on popups's call-to-action button.

  • Closed ❌ ➜ how many visitors closed/dismissed the popup.

  • Coupon Copied 🎟️➜ how many times a coupon code was copied from the popup.

5️⃣ Filter by email popup name or all email popups

  • Use the dropdown above the chart to show data for a specific popup or all email popups.

    • Useful when you want the performance of a single campaign vs. the overall performance. 🔎

6️⃣ Choose a date range

  • Right above the chart, select the time window: Day / Month / Last 7 days / Last 30 days / Custom date range. 📅

    • This lets you compare performance over time or see results from a specific push.
