A Shipping Bar ID is required whenever you want to place the Free Shipping Bar manually using a Custom Position inside your Shopify store.

This ID is used inside the Shopify App Block to connect the storefront placement with your Free Shipping Upsell setup ✨

⚠️ Before You Begin

The Shipping Bar ID becomes available only when:

• The placement is set to Custom Position
• The setup is properly saved after changing the placement

If the setup is not saved first, the Shipping Bar ID will not appear.

🛠️ Step 1 — Open Hoppy Free Shipping

Open the Hoppy Free Shipping app from your Shopify Admin.

📂 Step 2 — Open or Create a Free Shipping Upsell

You can either:

→ Open an existing Free Shipping Upsell setup

→ Or create a new Free Shipping Upsell setup

⚙️ Step 3 — Navigate to the Placement Section

→ Navigate to the Placement tab

Since this workflow controls only one placement, all custom positioning settings will be available there.

🎯 Step 4 — Change Placement to Custom Position

Inside the Placement settings:

→ Change Display On (Include) or Placement to: Custom Position

→ Click Save

⚠️ Important:

The Shipping Bar ID will not appear until the setup is saved after selecting Custom Position.

🆔 Step 5 — Locate the Shipping Bar ID

After the placement is changed to Custom Position and the setup is saved successfully:

→ A Shipping Bar ID will automatically appear inside the setup.

This ID is used to connect the storefront App Block with the selected Free Shipping Upsell setup.

💡Alternatively, you can get the Shipping Bar ID, just below the Free Shipping bar’s name and Published flag. You need to have Custom Position selected in Placement tab to make it work properly.

🧩 Using the Shipping Bar ID

Once the Shipping Bar ID becomes available:

→ Copy the Shipping Bar ID

→ Add it inside the Shopify App Block settings

⚠️ Important:

Before adding the Shipping Bar ID into the App Block:

• The placement must already be set to Custom Position
• The setup must already be Saved

Otherwise, the Free Shipping Bar may not appear correctly on the storefront.

🎉 Final Result

Once configured successfully:

✅ The Shipping Bar ID becomes available

✅ The Free Shipping Bar can be placed manually inside custom storefront locations

✅ Shopify App Blocks can connect correctly with the selected Free Shipping setup ✨
