🌍 Trust Badges — Translation

Hoppy Trust Badges app allows merchants to create translations for customer-facing trust badges, secure checkout text, and benefit messages.


This helps stores provide a more localized shopping experience for customers browsing the storefront in different languages. ✨


Translations can be added for:


  • 🛡️ Badge Headings
  • 📝 Badge Subtitles / Descriptions



🌐 Before Adding Translations


Before translations can be added inside Hoppy Trust Badges, the target language must already exist inside your Shopify store settings.


Hoppy Trust Badges automatically detects and adapts to the languages configured in:


Shopify Admin \> Settings \> Languages


Only the languages configured there will become available inside the app for translation.


⚠️ Important:


If a language is not added in Shopify Settings first, it will not appear in the Translation section inside Hoppy Trust Badges.

🛠️ Step 1 — Open Hoppy Trust Badges


Open the Hoppy Trust Badges app from your Shopify Admin.



Then:


➡️ Open an existing Trust Badge setup.


➡️ Or click Create new badge to start a fresh configuration.




🎯 Step 2 — Navigate to the Translation Section


Once your specific trust badge configuration editor is open:


  • ➡️ Make sure you are inside the Content tab.
  • ➡️ Scroll down toward the bottom of the block configuration panel.
  • ➡️ Locate the Translations section.


This section allows you to provide localized, translated versions of your custom headings, badge block titles, and subheadings for your international customers.

➕ Step 3 — Add a Translation


Inside the Translations section:


→ Click Add Translation


Once clicked, a Translation modal will appear.


Inside this modal, you can:


  • Select the language
  • Add translated messages
  • Configure storefront-facing translation content



✍️ Step 4 — Configure Translation Content


Inside the Translation modal, manually enter the translated text you want customers to see on the storefront.



💡 Example Translation


If your base badge title contains the message:


"100% Secure Checkout"


Your Spanish translation input field should be configured as:


"Pago 100% Seguro"



✅ Step 5 — Confirm & Publish


Once your translated text strings are filled out:


  1. Click Confirm Translation inside the modal.

  1. Click Save in the top right corner of the app dashboard.
  2. Ensure the badge status is set to Publish


After publishing, customers browsing your storefront in the selected language will automatically see the translated Free Shipping messages.


This creates a more localized and user-friendly storefront experience 🌍
