Hoppy Free Shipping allows merchants to create translations for customer-facing Free Shipping messages and reward texts.


This helps stores provide a more localized shopping experience for customers browsing the storefront in different languages ✨


Translations can be added for:

  • 🚚 Free Shipping Messages

🌐 Before Adding Translations


Before translations can be added inside Hoppy Free Shipping, the language must already exist inside your Shopify store settings.


Hoppy Free Shipping automatically detects the languages configured in:


β†’ Shopify Admin β†’ Settings β†’ Languages


Only the languages configured there will become available inside the app for translation.


⚠️ Important:


If a language is not added in Shopify Settings first, it will not appear in the Translation section inside Hoppy Free Shipping.

πŸ› οΈ Step 1 β€” Open Hoppy Free Shipping


Open the Hoppy Free Shipping app from your Shopify Admin.


Then:


β†’ Open an existing Free Shipping Upsell setup

β†’ Or create a new Free Shipping Upsell setup



🎯 Step 2 β€” Navigate to the Translation Section


Once the setup is opened:


β†’ Make sure you are inside the Goal tab

β†’ Scroll toward the bottom of the setup page

β†’ Locate the Translations section


This section allows you to add translated versions of the customer-facing messages shown throughout the Free Shipping Bar.



βž• Step 3 β€” Add a Translation


Inside the Translations section:


β†’ Click Add Translation


Once clicked, a Translation modal will appear.


Inside this modal, you can:


  • Select the language
  • Add translated messages
  • Configure storefront-facing translation content



✍️ Step 4 β€” Configure Translation Content


Inside the Translation modal, manually enter the translated text you want customers to see on the storefront.


⚠️ Important:


Do not remove dynamic variables such as:


  • {order-value}
  • {order-value-progress}


These variables are required for dynamic cart progress and reward calculations to appear correctly.

If your base setup contains the message:


β€œFree shipping for orders over {order-value}”


then a Spanish translation could look like:


β€œEnvΓ­o gratuito para pedidos superiores a {order-value}”


Notice that the variable {order-value}is still preserved inside the translated message.


This ensures the progress value updates dynamically on the storefront ✨



βœ… Step 5 β€” Confirm & Publish


Once the translations are added:


β†’ Click Confirm Translation

β†’ Save the setup

β†’ Publish the Free Shipping Upsell


After publishing, customers browsing your storefront in the selected language will automatically see the translated Free Shipping messages.
