The Delivery Rates By Time rule lets you offer a delivery rate that only applies within a specific time window of the day.

📋 Before You Begin

• ✅ You’ve created a delivery zone — see How to Setup Delivery Rates and Zones?
• ✅ You know the time window your special rate should cover

ℹ️ Time rules live in the Advanced Rates section of the zone form, alongside product and day rules.

⚙️ Step 1 — Open the Time Rule Popup

→ Go to Rates → Edit your zone → scroll to Advanced Rates → under Delivery Rates By Time, click Add Rate By Time.

⚙️ Step 2 — Fill in the Rule

Start with the shared fields:

• Delivery Rate Name → appears on the checkout page along with the charges (e.g. Evening Delivery)
• Delivery Rate Description → appears on the checkout page along with the name
• Delivery Rate → the amount to charge (set 0 for free delivery)

Then set the time window:

• Delivery Starts At → the start of the window (hourly options from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM)
• Delivery Ends At → the end of the window (hourly options from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM)

⚠️ Both fields are required — and the end time must come after the start time.

Example

• Delivery Starts At → 6:00 PM
• Delivery Ends At → 9:00 PM
• Delivery Rate → ₹99

Orders placed within this evening window qualify for the special evening delivery rate.

→ Click Add, then Add Zone / Update Zone, then Save in the save bar.

• ℹ️ Time rules are checked after price, weight, and product rules in the same zone.
