🧩 How to Set Up Multi-Condition Delivery Rates

Sometimes one condition isn’t enough. Maybe you want free delivery β€” but only for orders over β‚Ή500, under 10 kg, placed on weekdays, before 6 PM. 🀹

The Multi Condition Rates rule combines cart value, weight, delivery speed, time window, days of the week, and product SKUs into a single rate that applies only when everything matches.

πŸ“‹ Before You Begin

  • βœ… You’ve created a delivery zone β€” see How to Setup Delivery Rates and Zones?
  • βœ… You’ve picked your Weight format in the General card on the Rates page
  • βœ… You know exactly which combination of conditions your rate needs

ℹ️ Multi condition rules live in their own Multi Condition Rates section at the bottom of the zone form.

βš™οΈ Step 1 β€” Open the Multi Condition Popup

β†’ Go to Rates β†’ Edit your zone β†’ scroll to Multi Condition Rates β†’ click Add Multi Condition Rates.

Start with the shared fields:

  • Delivery Rate Name β†’ appears on the checkout page along with the charges
  • Delivery Rate Description β†’ appears on the checkout page along with the name
  • Delivery Rate β†’ the amount to charge (set 0 for free delivery)

πŸ›’ Step 2 β€” Set Cart Requirements

Define the order value and weight the cart must fall within:

  • Minimum Order Value / Maximum Order Value β†’ the order total range
  • Minimum Order Weight / Maximum Order Weight β†’ the total order weight range

⚠️ All four fields are required β€” use very high maximums if there’s no upper limit.

🚚 Step 3 β€” Set the Delivery Speed

Pick a radio option:

  • Same day Delivery β†’ delivery happens the same day
  • Custom β†’ reveals the Delivery Days Range fields:
    • From β†’ earliest delivery time in days (e.g. 1)
    • To β†’ latest delivery time in days (e.g. 5)

Example

From: 2 / To: 4 β†’ shown as a 2–4 day delivery option.

⏰ Step 4 β€” Set the Delivery Time

Choose the time window with hourly dropdowns:

  • Delivery Starts At β†’ options from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Delivery Ends At β†’ options from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM

⚠️ Both fields are required.

πŸ“† Step 5 β€” Pick the Days of Week

Tick the days this rate is available:

  • Monday through Sunday β€” any combination

⚠️ At least one day must be selected β€” you’ll see the error β€œAt least one delivery day must be selected” if you skip this.

🏷️ Step 6 β€” Set Product Requirements

Narrow the rate to specific products:

  • SKU β†’ enter SKUs separated by commas (e.g. 1234, 6789). To include a whole series, use partial match: add an asterisk after the starting characters β†’ FRAG-* covers every SKU starting with FRAG-
  • SKU Condition β†’ how SKUs are matched:
    • ANY product must satisfy this condition β†’ at least one cart item matches
    • ALL products must satisfy this condition β†’ every cart item matches
    • Partial Match β†’ match SKUs that start with your entry (use with the * asterisk series)
  • Apply on multiple SKUs β†’ tick this when the rule should work across several SKUs at once

β†’ Click Add, then Add Zone / Update Zone, then Save in the save bar.

⚠️ Important β€” All Conditions Must Match

A multi condition rate applies only when every configured condition is true at once:

  • βœ… Order value within range
  • βœ… Order weight within range
  • βœ… Current time within the delivery window
  • βœ… Today is one of the selected days
  • βœ… Cart SKUs satisfy the SKU condition

If even one condition fails, the rate won’t show. Keep ranges generous while testing πŸ’‘

ℹ️ Multi condition rules are checked last in a zone β€” after price, weight, product, time, and day rules.

πŸŽ‰ Final Result

Once saved:

βœ… One rate covers your exact combination of value, weight, speed, time, days, and products
βœ… Customers only see it when they genuinely qualify
βœ… Complex delivery pricing stays manageable in a single rule
